We are a group of individuals who join hands together to make a brighter future for our people.We work tirelessly to create a society free of violence and prejudice.Our work turns the tears of our people stricken by war, natural disasters, poverty and physical challenges into laughter.We come from all walks of life. We use our experiences and talents to better the world through what we believe in: the healing power of drama, theatre and performing arts. We believe that the performing arts can be a catharsis for those affected by tragedy in their lives and help healing, rehabilitation and reintegration.

Our Mission is ‘To use performing arts to heal, help and care’.Our motto 'Trauma to Triumph’ brings out our belief in a society based on mutual help and understanding.

The five day basic Abhina Work shop
( Acting, voice Training, Personality Develop Etc)
which is being conducted every month by the Abhina Academy of Performing Arts, has been scheduled for 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 of September from 9 am - 4 pm.

Abhina Academy will conduct an exclusive Voice Training workshop for final 100 competitors of Sirasa Super Star Reality show, Starting on 26th of August 2009 at 9.00 a.m.


Abhina Academy conducted a 2 day work shop at holy Cross convent Gampaha for 75 students who are studying Drama and Theatre art as a subject for the G.C.E. O.L. Examination. Objective of the work shop is to give the practical knowledge of the subject to students to face the exam with confidence.



The Ampara district work shop for training Drama & Theatre Art Teachers of Government Schools in remote areas was held at Ampara town hall in last March.
